Job summary

Stream Environment Sdn Bhd is seeking a dedicated engineer to support R&D activities for new product development and improvements. The role involves preparing calculations, technical reports, and documentation, while collaborating with cross-functional teams on design and customization.

You will assist in testing, evaluation, and quality improvements, ensure ISO 9001:2015 documentation compliance, and maintain confidential engineering records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Electrical engineering or related discipline.
• 0–1 year of working experience; fresh graduates encouraged to apply.
• Proficient in SolidWorks.
• Basic knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support R&D activities for new product development and product improvements.
• Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, and documentation.
• Work with cross-functional teams on product design and customization.
• Assist in product testing, evaluation, and quality improvement.
• Ensure engineering documents are properly maintained and comply with ISO 9001:2015 requirements.
• Maintain and safeguard engineering documentation with proper backup and confidentiality.
• Prepare 2D fabrication drawings for new design and prototype.
• Liaise with suppliers and fabricators to obtain quotations and coordinate prototype development.
