• Degree or higher in Engineering/CS or equivalent.
• 3+ years related experience preferred.
• Proficient in PLC programming and MS Visual C++ 5.0+.
• Experience with machine design, product development & machine vision is a plus.

Job description

We're seeking talented Control System Engineers to join our tight-knit team researching and designing next-gen inspection technologies. As a System Control Engineer, you will dive into the nerve centre of our industry-leading machines - architecting the electrical circuits and programmable logic, making automated quality control possible.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement new and existing electrical control systems
• Develop and debug PLC ladder diagrams to ensure seamless system operation
• Code, test, and debug to enhance and initiate efficient program execution, optimizing hardware utilization
• Collaborate closely with the mechanical design team to ensure timely completion of electrical design and installation for optimal performance
• Provide technical support to internal (production) and external (customers) stakeholders on control system troubleshooting-related issues

Requirements :

• A recognized Degree / Master / PhD in Computer Science / Engineering (Mechatronics / Electrical & Electronic / Computer / Software) or equivalent
• Preferably with min. of 3 years related working experience
• Proficient in programming, especially in PLC, MS Visual C++ 5.0 or above
• Experience in machine design, product development & machine vision systems will be considered an added advantage
• Knowledge of electrical & electronics, Machine Vision Inspection systems, and automation machines will be beneficial
