Job summary

Career Wise in Penang is looking for an Electrical Engineer to design and develop control systems for high-speed automated machines. Responsibilities include conducting evaluations, troubleshooting hardware, and preparing engineering documentation.

The successful candidate should possess a degree in Engineering and 3 to 5 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in Solidworks and Draftsight is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering in Electronics/Electrical/Mechatronics with second upper class or above.
• At least 3 to 5 years of working experience in a relevant field.
• Proficiency in Solidworks/Draftsight is an added advantage.

Job Description:

• Design and develop electrical & control system for high-speed automated machines


• Perform electrical components evaluation and data collection


• Perform motor tuning and data collection


• Provide machine electrical hardware troubleshooting and support


• Prepare engineering documentation including wiring diagram, checklists, DCN, SOP, user manual and guidelines


• Manage and keep all lab tools & equipment clean and tidy (5S)


• Identify and implement hardware improvement to enhance product performance


• Train and mentor junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of knowledge-sharing


• Provide technical expertise in control system and hardware development

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering in Electronics/ Electrical/ Mechatronics with second upper class or above


• Proficiency in Solidworks/ Draftsight is an added advantage
