Job summary

ViTrox Corporation Berhad in Malaysia is seeking talented Control System Engineers to join our team developing next-gen inspection technologies. As a System Control Engineer, you will architect electrical circuits and programmable logic for automated quality control systems.

You will design, develop, and debug PLC ladder diagrams, optimize hardware utilization, and collaborate with mechanical teams to ensure timely electrical design and installation.

Qualifications

• A recognized degree or higher in engineering or computer science.
• Minimum 3 years related working experience.
• Proficient in PLC programming and MS Visual C++ 5.0 or above.
• Experience in machine design, product development or machine vision systems is a plus.
• Knowledge of electrical & electronics, machine vision inspection systems and automation is beneficial.
• Demonstrated innovation and commitment to excellence.

Job description

We're seeking talented Control System Engineers to join our tight-knit team researching and designing next-gen inspection technologies. As a System Control Engineer, you will dive into the nerve centre of our industry-leading machines - architecting the electrical circuits and programmable logic, making automated quality control possible.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement new and existing electrical control systems
• Develop and debug PLC ladder diagrams to ensure seamless system operation
• Code, test, and debug to enhance and initiate efficient program execution, optimizing hardware utilization
• Collaborate closely with the mechanical design team to ensure timely completion of electrical design and installation for optimal performance
• Provide technical support to internal (production) and external (customers) stakeholders on control system troubleshooting-related issues

Requirements :

• A recognized Degree / Master / PhD in Computer Science / Engineering (Mechatronics / Electrical & Electronic / Computer / Software) or equivalent
• Preferably with min. of 3 years related working experience
• Proficient in programming, especially in PLC, MS Visual C++ 5.0 or above
• Experience in machine design, product development & machine vision systems will be considered an added advantage
• Knowledge of electrical & electronics, Machine Vision Inspection systems, and automation machines will be beneficial
