Job summary

SC Johnson invites a motivated Chemistry Formulator Intern to join the RD&E team in Petaling Jaya. You will work closely with experienced formulators on the development and optimization of chemical formulations for Home Cleaning and Pest Control products.

You will gain hands-on lab experience, practice formulation methods, and learn data analysis while contributing to meaningful projects in a supportive, safety‑minded environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• Fluent in English.
• Strong chemistry concepts and lab technique knowledge.
• Experience with formulation chemistry is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in formulation and development of home cleaning and pest control products.
• Conduct experiments to optimize formulations per performance criteria.
• Prepare and document laboratory reports with methods and results.
• Perform stability testing and evaluate physical/chemical properties.
• Maintain a safe, clean laboratory and follow protocols.
• Collaborate with RD&E core teams across product types.
