Job summary

Bühler Gruppe in Malaysia is seeking a proactive specialist to manage the customer quotation process end-to-end, coordinate with sales, logistics and QA to ensure accurate, timely responses.

You will handle inquiries, prepare spare parts quotations, work with BOMs and drawings, and liaise with regional teams to resolve issues and support orders from initial inquiry to delivery.

Qualifications

• Education in mechanical, electrical, electronics or mechatronics.
• At least 3 years in order processing, logistics, or customer services.
• Knowledgeable in incoterms.
• Proficient with MS Office and SAP/CRM platforms.
• English plus another ASEAN language is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute the customer quotation process end-to-end in contributing to sales turnover.
• Handle incoming customer requests professionally, ensuring prompt and thorough resolution of issues.
• Collect and validate all relevant customer information to accurately identify and fulfill their requirements.
• Build Level 1 competency in spare parts identification for assigned BUs, supported by 2nd-level Technical Advisors and BA/BU (Global/Region) teams during the quotation process.
• Process technical and commercial inquiries.
• Prepare comprehensive quotations for spare and wear parts, covering both commercial and technical aspects.
• Work with BOMs (Bill of Material / Part List), customer project documents, and technical drawings.
• Coordinate delivery, invoice and payments.
• Assist with customer complaints and warranty claims as needed, in close collaboration with the regional Quality partner.
• Engage with multiple stakeholders to support customer technical and commercial inquiries.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as business needs evolve.

These are the skills you'll need

• Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics, Mechatronics Engineering or similar education background.
• Basic knowledge machinery and familiar with MRO.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in order processing, logistics, or Customer Services.
• Knowledgeable in incoterms.
• IT savvy, proficient in MS Office, with working knowledge of SAP/ CRM platforms (e.g. Salesforce SAP (SD Module, Stock, Purchasing).
• English and any other ASEAN language of an advantage
