Job summary

YCL Consult is seeking Junior and Intermediate Quantity Surveyors in Kuala Lumpur. You will practice full Quantity Surveying duties including cost estimation up to final accounts, measurements, site valuations, meetings, and contract administration.

Qualifications include a QS degree, with 2 years (junior) or 3–4 years (intermediate). Strong analytical skills, communication, and organization are essential, with Cost-X proficiency and training available.

Quantity Surveyors (Junior & Intermediate)

Key tasks include full-fledged practice of quantity surveying, responsible for managing all aspects of the contractual and financial aspects of construction projects. Effective collaboration with Employers, contractors, and project teams is essential for this role.

Job responsibility shall include:

• Full-fledged practice of quantity surveying to perform cost estimation till final account
• Quantity measurement
• Site valuation
• Attend meetings
• Contract administration

Qualifications:

• Degree in Quantity Surveying with approximately 2 years of related experience for the Junior Post & 3-4 years for the Intermediate Post
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply for the junior post
• Candidates shall have good analytical and critical thinking skills
• A good working attitude and accountability are a must
• Ability to organize
• Plan and work under reasonable pressure to meet a tight schedule
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
• Proficiency in standard QS software and tools, i.e. Cost-X (training will be provided, if needed)

Remuneration

• Junior Quantity Surveyor - RM3,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
• Intermediate Quantity Surveyor - RM4,000.00 - RM5,200.00 per month
• On-job & paid training (CPD)
