Job summary

MTL Construction Sdn. Bhd. seeks a Quantity Surveyor for a full-time role at Bandar Damai Cheras. The candidate will prepare tender documents, budgets, and bills of quantities, and perform take-offs for Pre Tender.

You will assist the Project Manager in Post-Contract activities and handle variation claims. Fresh graduates are welcome. Proficiency in English, BM, Mandarin, and Cantonese is preferred to communicate with multi-lingual stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in the field.
• Able to work independently under minimal supervision.
• Fresh graduates are welcome.
• Required language: English, BM, Mandarin, Cantonese (Mandarin/Cantonese proficiency is an added advantage to communicate with Mandarin-speaking colleagues and stakeholders)

Responsibilities

• Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities and other documentation
• Take-off & costing for Pre Tender
• Assist Project Manager handling Post Contract phase, additional works (VO)
• Project budgeting and costing report
• Prepare and submit variation claims (progress claims, subcontractor claims)
• Others (All related works of QS)
