Job summary

Eternity Recruitment is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor (E&E) in Malaysia to oversee tendering, cost estimation, and contract administration for M&E projects. You will work with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure projects meet budget and commercial requirements.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field, has 2–4 years of QS experience, and is proficient with Excel, AutoCAD, CostX, and Cubicost. Accommodation is provided.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of QS experience, preferably in E&E engineering projects.
• Strong knowledge of E&E works, tendering, cost control, and contract administration.
• Familiar with PAM, JKR, CIDB, and FIDIC contracts.
• Proficient with Excel, AutoCAD, CostX, Glodon Cubicost or similar QS software.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, BQ/BOQ, tender documents, and pricing schedules for M&E projects.
• Conduct quantity take-offs, measurements, material and labour costing.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Review M&E drawings, specifications, and tender requirements.
• Evaluate tenders and assist with contract documentation.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, cash flow, and overall commercial performance.
• Evaluate subcontractor claims, progress payments, variation orders, and final accounts.
• Handle contract administration in accordance with PAM, JKR, CIDB, and FIDIC requirements.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors on commercial matters.
• Provide cost advice, value engineering, risk assessment, and market cost analysis.
• Prepare regular cost and commercial reports for management.

Join as an E&E Quantity Surveyor, responsible for tendering, cost estimation, quantity measurement, contract administration, and project cost control.
