Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Malaysia is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to deliver cost management across all project phases, with a focus on data centres and industrial developments. You will prepare cost estimates, tender documentation, progress valuations and final accounts, and support contract administration.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or its equivalent.
• Member of Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors preferred.
• A minimum 3-5 years’ experience as consultant or client representative.
• Experience in quantity surveying & cost management services for both pre-contract and post contract stages.
• Experience in Data Center projects and/or industrial projects.
• Good communication skills.
• Able to work independently and possess good interpersonal skills.
• Candidates with less experience will be considered for Assistant Quantity Surveyor position.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates and cost plans.
• Prepare tender documents, corrigenda, queries and clarifications.
• Evaluate tender submissions and make tender recommendation report for award.
• Prepare progress claims, progress valuations.
• Prepare cost reports.
• Assess variations.
• Contract administration.
• Assist in the settlement of construction disputes/loss and expense claims.
• Prepare and agree final accounts.
