Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Quantity Surveyor in Malaysia (Penang) to deliver quantity surveying and cost management services for data centre and industrial projects. You will prepare estimates, tender docs, and valuations, and manage contract administration and final accounts.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years’ experience, a Quantity Surveying degree, and prefer membership in RICS. Hybrid and remote-work options are available, with a discretionary bonus program and relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or its equivalent.
• Member of Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors is preferred.
• A minimum 3-5 years’ experience as consultant or client representative.
• Experience in data centre projects and/or industrial projects.
• Able to work independently and possess good interpersonal skills.
• Candidates with less experience will be considered for Assistant Quantity Surveyor position.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates and cost plans.
• Prepare tender documents, corrigenda, queries and clarifications.
• Evaluate tender submissions and make tender recommendation report for award.
• Prepare progress claims, progress valuations.
• Prepare cost reports.
• Assess variations.
• Contract administration.
• Assist in the settlement of construction disputes/loss and expense claims.
• Prepare and agree final accounts.
