Job summary

China State Construction & Engineering Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to manage full-cycle commercial activities for construction projects in Malaysia. The role includes quantity measurement, progress claims, and cost analysis to enhance project profitability. Mandarin proficiency is essential for systems and communication with stakeholders.

Fresh graduates are welcome, with 2–5 years of experience preferred. Familiarity with Glodon, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office is expected.

2-5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.

Responsibilities

Participate in the full-cycle commercial management of construction projects, including quantity measurement and progress claim preparation.
Handle daily commercial communication and document coordination with subcontractors, consultants, and clients to ensure timely information flow.
Assist in cost estimation, cost monitoring, and cost analysis throughout the project lifecycle.
Participate in cost optimization initiatives and value creation planning to improve profitability.
Assist in subcontractor management, progress measurement, and final account settlement activities.
Support tender stage quantity take-off and cost estimation for smooth transition from tendering to execution.
Continuously improve commercial management standards and efficiency through project experience.
