Job summary

Selia Selenggara Selatan is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to manage budget estimates, cost analysis, tender procedures and contract administration. You will liaise with contractors and sub-contractors to ensure cost control and timely payments.

The ideal candidate holds a Degree in Quantity Survey or equivalent and has at least 5 years of experience in a related field, with strong analytical and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare budgetary estimates and cost analysis.
• Attend Tender procedures and prepare Tender reports.
• Inspect site for monthly statements and interim payments.
• Liaise with suppliers, negotiate and monitor contracts and payments.
• Prepare contract administration papers and sub-contractor appointments.
• Liaise with sub-contractors to advise on contract requirements.
• Attend progress meetings and handle contractual correspondence.

A Quantity Surveyor role responsible for preparing budgetary estimates, cost analysis, tender procedures, site inspections, contract administration, and liaison with contractors and sub-contractors.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare budgetary estimates assignment to meet requirement of works and perform cost analysis
• Attend Tender procedures and prepare Tender reports
• Inspect site for collation of information for monthly statement which includes recommendation on interim payments, statement of claims from contractor, anticipated claims from contractor and assessment of costs of works, evaluate variations and expected final cost
• Liaise, negotiate and agree contract and monitor their progress between suppliers and process payment and invoices on suppliers
• Prepare contract administration duties related to quantity surveyor e.g. BTB (bid tender board) paper, identifying, valuing and analyzing the appointment of sub-contractors
• Liaise with sub-contractor to advise on requirements of contract
• Attend progress meeting and handle contractual correspondences
