Job summary

VIZ 4 INTERIOR DESIGN & BUILD SDN BHD in Sabah invites a diligent Quantity Surveyor to prepare and review quotations, estimates, BOQ and cost budgets for projects. You will obtain supplier quotations, monitor costs and ensure expenses stay within approved budgets, and assist in progress claims and final accounts.

Join a project-driven team and coordinate with the Project Manager, Site Supervisor, designers and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review quotations, estimates, and cost budgets for projects.
• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and material take-off.
• Obtain and compare quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Monitor project costs and ensure expenses are within the approved budget.
• Prepare progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts.
• Check and verify subcontractor and supplier invoices.
• Measure completed works on site for payment and costing purposes.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager, Site Supervisor, Designer, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Monitor material costs, labour costs, and project expenses.
• Maintain proper records of project costs, quotations, invoices, and claims.
• Assist in contract administration and cost control.
• Conduct site measurements and inspections when required.
• Perform other quantity surveying and project-related duties assigned by management.
