Job summary

The QA Technician II at Jabil Circuit Sdn Bhd is responsible for performing quality control inspections, tests, and analyses to ensure products meet specified quality standards and customer requirements. This role involves identifying and documenting quality issues, participating in problem-solving activities, and contributing to the overall quality assurance process.

• Conduct in-process and final inspections of products, components, and materials according to established procedures and specifications.
• Perform various tests using appropriate measurement equipment and tools, such as calipers, micrometers, multimeters, and specialized testing apparatus.
• Document inspection and test results accurately and thoroughly, identifying and reporting any deviations or non-conformances.
• Initiate and follow up on Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and assist in the investigation of root causes for quality issues.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and other departments to resolve quality problems and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Calibrate and maintain inspection and testing equipment, ensuring their accuracy and proper functioning.
• Participate in internal and external quality audits, providing necessary documentation and support.
• Assist in the development and revision of quality control procedures, work instructions, and inspection plans.
• Provide training and guidance to junior technicians or production personnel on quality standards and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
