We are seeking a highly analytical and driven Quality System Engineer specializing in Lab Analysis specifically Ion Chromatography (IC) and Liquid Particle Count (LPC). With a minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience, the successful candidate will serve as the technical custodian of our measurement data integrity. You will lead internal Quality Lab activities, optimise gauge performance, manage the lab process, equipment and inventory, and ensure our measurement systems meet stringent customer and international standards (such as ISO 9001 / 14001 / 45001).
Lab Maintenance: Serve as the Lab Owner to ensure calibration and testing labs are well-maintained, safe, and functioning at optimal industry standards.
Continuous Improvement: Evaluate gauge utilisation, work procedures, and parameters. Recommend data-driven changes to optimise measurement methods.
Vendor Collaboration: Resolve gauge issues or lead tool redesigns in coordination with equipment vendors when measurement variation limits are breached.
3rd-party Verification: Perform independent 3rd-party measurement verification on return samples from internal or external customers.
Data Compilation: Support internal measurement analysis activities, compile testing data, and generate technical reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Process Risk Support: Act as the QA coordinator for the plant's Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) documentation, linking measurement risks back to process controls.
Cross-Functional Alignment: Perform periodic benchmarking with external parties to ensure testing methods remain competitive and compliant.
Gage-to-Gage Correlation: Conduct and analyse internal/external gauge correlation studies. Prepare Standard Analytical House (SAH) samples for target verification based on correlation results.
Safety & Ethics: Maintain strict adherence to Quality, Environmental, Safety, and Health (QESH) policies. Ensure your actions do not endanger yourself or others.
Team Guidance: Provide technical guidance and support to junior technicians or lab analysts within the department. Ensure assigned daily lab tasks are completed accurately and on time.
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Material, Chemical), Statistics, Physics, or any related technical discipline.
Minimum of 1-3 years of working experience in a manufacturing Quality Assurance environment, with a heavy focus on MSA and Lab Analysis.
Strong proficiency in Minitab or similar statistical software.
Strong proficiency in Excel and familiarity with Visual Basic Application (VBA).
Basic knowledge of Ion Chromatography (IC) and Liquid Particle Count (LPC).
Familiarity with statistical process control and QC tools.
Strong communication skills to liaise with vendors, IT, and production teams; analytical mindset with sharp problem-solving capabilities.
