Job summary

TTM Technologies Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. seeks a Senior Quality System Engineer to shape the Quality strategy and drive audits across the business and supply chain. The role includes training teams, championing the QMS, and sustaining document controls.

The candidate will lead and participate in audits, ensure compliance with ISO 9001 / IATF 16949, and collaborate across diverse environments. Strong data analysis, communication, and initiative are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline is required.
• Minimum 3 years of quality system experience with audits.
• Experience with ISO 9001 or IATF 16949 audits is preferred.
• Supervisory experience is a plus but not required.
• Candidates with less experience will be considered for the role of quality system engineer.

Responsibilities

• Conduct internal audits, data collection and analysis to assure QMS compliance.
• Complete customer and external surveys related to quality systems.
• Participate in customer and external agency audits and close audit findings.
• Conduct training on QMS, ISO, FMEA, PPAP, SPC and quality tools.
• Facilitate implementation of documents and records control activities.
• Maintain revisions of quality system procedures and work instructions.

Job description

The senior quality system engineer will contribute to developing the Quality strategy, policies, processes, standards, and systems for the company and its supply chain to operate within. Lead and undertake audits across all areas of the business as well as across the supply chain. Provide training and champion the Quality Management System.

Supervisory Responsibilities

• May assist with hiring manufacturing engineers.
• Mentors and trains junior quality engineers on policies and SOP.
• May assist with performance evaluations.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Conduct internal audits, data collection, and analysis to assure compliance with the QMS.
• Complete customer and external surveys related to quality systems.
• Participate in all customer and external agency audits. Follow up all audit findings and report the status to customer until closed.
• Conducts training on quality management systems, ISO, FMEA, PPAP, SPC, Quality Tools etc.
• Facilitate implementation of documents; company level data and records control related activities.
• Sustain the revisions of the quality system related procedure and work instructions

Required Skills/Abilities

• Strong knowledge of FMEA, SPC, MSA, APQP, and PPAP;
