Job summary

Flexi Components Sdn Bhd is seeking a Quality - Senior Engineer or Assistant Manager to lead QA/QC operations and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. You will drive continuous improvement, oversee audits, and coordinate cross-functional teams to meet quality and environmental objectives.

The role requires a degree in engineering or quality management, 7+ years in QA/QC with at least 3 years in supervision, and strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills, including

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related discipline.
• 7+ years of QA/QC experience with at least 3 years in supervision.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
• Proven ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 compliance and audit management.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Multilingual communication: Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA/QC operations and drive continual improvement.

Quality - Senior Engineer or Assistant Manager

To lead QA/QC operations, manage compliance frameworks, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Oversee audits, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure organizational quality and environmental objectives are achieved.

Key responsibilities

Supervise QA/QC teams and allocate resources effectively

Drive quality and environmental culture across production and engineering functions

Ensure adherence to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards

Coordinate internal and external audits and regulatory inspections

Oversee incoming, in-process, and final inspections

Validate inspection plans and ensure product conformity and environmental compliance

Lead CAPA initiatives and monitor effectiveness

Implement process improvement projects to reduce non-conformities and environmental impacts

Review and approve NCRs, audit reports, and environmental compliance records

Present quality and environmental performance metrics to senior management

About you

Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related discipline

7+ years of QA/QC experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role

Strong leadership and team management skills

Proven track record in ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 compliance and audit management

Excellent communication, analytical, and decision-making skills

Language (both communication and written) skills: Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia to liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients, suppliers, or associates.
