Job summary

Jobstreet Malaysia is seeking a Quality Assistant Manager (LV switchboards) to supervise staff and oversee product development and quality assurance processes. The role focuses on enforcing quality standards, improving procedures, and ensuring compliance with international standards.

The candidate should have an Electrical Engineering degree and at least 3 years of switchboard experience, with familiarity in drawings, control circuits, and QA/testing of switchgear.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Basic knowledge on drawing and control circuit
• Experience in QA environment is an added advantage
• Experience in Testing of Switchgear or similar experience is an added advantage
• Adapt at planning and developing standards, procedures, and best practices for ensuring product quality.

Responsibilities

• Establish quality procedures, standards, and specifications for a company
• Collaborate with production to ensure products meet quality requirements
• Carry out research to identify ways to reduce waste and maximize resources
• Ensure manufacturing processes comply with national and international standards
• Collect, compile, and analyse quality data to assess performance
• Supervise staff to ensure adherence to quality procedures
• Review processes and specs to identify improvements
• Lead testing engineers to verify product requirements before shipment
• Prepare and present reports to update management on quality activities
• Maintain records of quality tests, procedures, and standards.
