Job summary

Maruwa (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, a leading electronics ceramic manufacturer in Melaka, seeks a QA/QC Manager to lead the QA/QC team and uphold the Quality Management System in line with ISO 9001 and IATF16949. The role requires strong analytical skills, problem-solving, and Japanese language proficiency.

The successful candidate will train operators, drive process improvements, and ensure quality standards meet customer expectations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Batu Berendam, Melaka.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field.
• Knowledge of QA/QC control points.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.
• Proficiency in Japanese language.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the QA/QC team to support the Quality Management System.
• Review processes to align with current trends and standards.
• Create reports to track progress and improvements.
• Formulate strategies to increase quality.
• Provide training and coaching to operators on quality concerns.

Job description

1. Design, implement, and improve company quality standards

2. Analyze data in order to find gap areas for growth or improvement

3. Training, motivating, coaching, and correcting employees to ensure that standards are met

4. Create reports to track progress

5. Formulate strategies to increase quality.

6. Review processes in order to ensure that they align with current trends

7. Lead and manage the QA/QC team and expertise to the overall Quality Management System, policies and standards to support proper and smooth execution of all Quality related activities in meeting the specified standards and requirements

8. Knowledge of 8D and FMEA

10. Have knowledge and experience in implementing statistical techniques (SPC, Data Analaysis)

11. Improvement in quality standard.

12. Educate and train the operator on any quality concern from time to time.

Job Requirement

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Related Field
