Job summary

Percetakan Mun Sun is seeking a Quality Inspector to examine products, materials, and components for defects and non-conformities. You will monitor the Quality Process, verify SOP adherence, and inspect materials such as paper and ink before starting production. You will sample batches for consistency and report issues to the QA/QC Manager.

The role requires attention to detail, good communication, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Shift rotation is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in quality inspection, preferably in the printing or manufacturing industry.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Knowledge of printing processes and quality standards.
• Ability to identify printing defects and finishing defects.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic knowledge of quality control documentation
• Applicants must be able to work on a shift rotation schedule.

Responsibilities

• Examine products, materials, and components for defects, inconsistencies, or non-compliance with specifications.
• Monitor the Quality Process, understand the SOP and ensure all processes are followed.
• Inspect the Raw Material, ensure that Paper, Ink and other materials meet quality standards before starting the process.
• Select random samples of products from production batches to evaluate quality consistency and reliability.
• Identify, record, and report any quality issues to the QA/QC Manager for immediate correction.
• Ensure testing equipment and tools are calibrated and maintained for accuracy.
• Provide timely feedback to production regarding quality issues and improvements.
• Assist in other quality control activities as needed; perform additional tasks assigned by supervisors or Head of Department.
