Job summary

Watlow Electric Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Quality Inspector to perform outgoing quality inspections, maintain records, and support containment activities in Kedah. The role involves updating daily and weekly OQA reports to QE and ensuring compliance with document control requirements.

The candidate should have an SPM with at least 1 year of experience, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts, LPA, and corrective actions. 6S and safety practices are essential in the inspection area.

Qualifications

• SPM with minimum 1 year of working experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform outgoing quality inspection according to AQL set & instruction set.
• Update OQA daily report to QE.
• Submit weekly OQA report to QE.
• Perform full dimension validation for all 1st time OQA material and FAIR parts for customer.
• Issue NCR and add to MRB cage when defect found.
• Perform IQC inspection when necessary.
• Support containment activities, sorting, re-inspection, and customer complaint investigations when required.
• Ensure all inspection records, checklists, and quality documentation are completed accurately and maintained according to document control requirements.
• Maintain 6S, safety, and housekeeping standards within the inspection area.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities, quality training, Layered Process Audits (LPA), and corrective action implementation as assigned.
