Job summary

Peikko Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector to monitor each production stage, ensure testing quality, and manage documentation. The role includes calibrating inspection equipment and inspecting materials from subcontractors, with emphasis on adhering to QEHS procedures and reporting unsafe practices.

Candidate should have technical education and production experience, with strong English communication and knowledge of quality standards relevant to manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Technical education or equivalent is required.
• Experience in a production environment is essential.
• Ability to read drawings and understand machinery layouts.
• Good command of English for communication and reporting.
• Familiarity with quality standards in manufacturing is preferred.
• Strong interpretation and analytical thinking to solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and examine each stage of production.

Salary will be paid based on skills & experience.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Monitoring and examining each stage of production.

Ensuring that all testing is performed to the highest standards.

Distributing written Quality Assurance Result to appropriate parties.

Ensuring inspection and testing equipment are calibrated.

Monitoring of the calibration schedule for the Inspection and Testing equipment.

Carrying out inspection of Semi-finished & Finished material (receiving from Sub-Contractor). Archiving the documents as hard copy and soft copy

Making sure that company employees follow documented procedures and standard (in QEHS).

Identifying and reporting unsafe working practices in the production hall.

Discussing inspection results and conclusions with Supervisor.

Performing inspections of purchased goods (Internal/ External) and reporting in case of any claims/ discrepancy and entering inspection results into a database.

Manage and follow up the in process non-conformity and update in the server with evidence (photo).

Provides needed reports and certificates to customers as required/ Provide MTC’s for all local & International Deliveries.

Arrange & Perform Destructive & Non-Destructive Testing for Products and archives the reports in server.

Implement/ follow up the traceability throughout the production.
