Job summary
Hicom Engineering Sdn Bhd is seeking a Head of Quality Management to coordinate quality assurance across the product realization process, ensuring compliance with customer specs and maintaining QMS certifications. The role includes leading QC/QA teams, driving process improvements, and ensuring release quality before delivery.
The position requires a Bachelor's degree in technical/engineering and at least 10 years in quality, with exposure to automotive/aluminium diecasting industries considered
Qualifications
- Experience in coordinating quality control and assurance across product realization stages.
- Familiarity with QMS ISO/TS 16949 as standard and quality assurance activities.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate R&D, design, development, implementation and improvement of QC/QA plans across product realization.
- Lead In-line Process Quality Control team to monitor and inform manufacturing decisions.
- Lead Quality Assurance team to inspect and test product quality and disposition before release.
- Define quality standards for product development phases to ensure high quality during mass production.
- Manage customer quality issues, coordinate corrective actions and preventive actions.
- Provide expertise on quality control tools to train teams and improve quality.
