Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Quality Engineering Intern to assist engineers in analyzing and improving production processes. You will gain hands‑on exposure to manufacturing operations, process documentation, and continuous improvement projects in a fast‑paced environment.

The role involves data collection and analysis, supporting line setup, troubleshooting, and collaboration with Quality, Production, and Maintenance teams.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Quality Engineering, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and engineering principles.
• Familiarity with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); knowledge of data analysis tools is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist manufacturing engineers in analyzing and improving production processes
• Support daily manufacturing operations, including line setup, troubleshooting, and documentation
• Collect, analyze, and report production data to identify efficiency and quality improvement opportunities
• Assist in developing and updating work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and process documentation
• Support continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen projects
• Participate in root cause analysis for manufacturing issues and assist in implementing corrective actions
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including Quality, Production, and Maintenance
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and manufacturing standards
