Job summary

Jora Malaysia is hiring a manufacturing/production engineer to support our growing operations in Malacca City. You will develop and maintain technical documentation, update BOMs in ERP, and ensure products meet specifications throughout production.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering and at least 2 years in manufacturing. You should be proficient in interpreting engineering drawings and applying Lean principles to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required.
• 2+ years of experience in manufacturing or production engineering.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of LEAN manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methods.

Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and maintain technical documentation to support manufacturing, including Technical Sheets, Bill of Materials (BOM), Work Instructions (WI), manufacturing plans, and other engineering documents.
• Update technical information in the ERP system to ensure accurate materials, routing, and production data.
• Prepare and maintain BOMs in alignment with technical and commercial targets.
• Ensure all products meet technical specifications and quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.
• Support Process Engineering with Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), root cause analysis, and corrective and preventive actions.
• Provide technical guidance and training to production staff and other departments to ensure proper understanding of product and process requirements.
