Job summary

Inter Island Group Pte Ltd. in Penang seeks a Quality Engineer to ensure product quality and reliability across the manufacturing process. You will focus on QC, process improvement and compliance, collaborating with production, engineering, and clients to resolve quality issues.

The role requires at least 3 years as a QE, with strong grasp of QC methods and standards such as FMEA, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. Mandarin language ability is a plus for customer interactions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related engineering field; hands-on experience also considered.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Quality Engineer.
• Knowledge of QC methodologies and quality frameworks (FMEA, ISO 9001, ISO 14001).

Responsibilities

• Analyze quality issues and implement corrective actions across manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with production, engineering and customers to ensure products meet specifications.
• Support internal and external audits to maintain compliance with standards.
• Oversee QC procedures and drive continuous process improvements.
• Prepare technical service/quality reports and track performance metrics.
