Job summary

PEN S J Electronics Sdn Bhd is seeking a proactive Quality Engineer to lead quality systems across our advanced material manufacturing operations. You will implement ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and TS16949 compliant processes, conduct management reviews and drive continuous improvement in SPC/MSA, calibration and internal audits.

You will also handle customer complaints, monitor product quality, and ensure compliance with OSHA and environmental acts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's / Master’s Degree in Engineering with min CGPA 3.0.
• Proven experience in quality control in manufacturing or semiconductor environment preferred.
• More than 3 years in semiconductor manufacturing quality.
• Experience with SPC, MSA, calibration, internal audits and handling customer issues.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage quality systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, TS16949) and conduct management reviews.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, track non-conformities and corrective actions.
• Drive a Quality First culture and organize quality-related training programs.
• Evaluate, assess and monitor product quality and SPC controls.
• Manage customer complaints and ensure effective resolution.
• Review and manage SPC control limits, OCAP, and CPK targets.
• Ensure calibration and verification of measurement equipment; maintain records.
• Adhere to OSHA, environmental acts and workplace safety requirements.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Job description

PEN S J Electronics Sdn Bhd is an advanced material manufacturer. Our company is a manufacturer and supplier to the global electronics, semiconductor, and thermal management markets. We manufacture thermal interface material which is used in high power computing (HPC) and high power HP) industries.

We are looking for an experienced and self-motivated Quality Engineer to be responsible for:

Responsible for the implementation and management quality systems (Eg. ISO9001, ISO14001, TS16949, etc), preparation and improvement of system and documentation, and organize the company management reviews.

Coordinate regular reviews, assessments and internal audits of company management systems.

Responsible for organizing external and internal audits, tracking, supervising and following up on the rectification of non-conformities and implementation of corrective actions.

Drive a "Quality First" culture. Organize quality-related training and programs.

Evaluate, assess and monitor of product quality.

Manage of customer complaints

Responsible for reviewing and managing SPC controls, SPC OCAP list, CPK target

Organizing SPC revieing meeting regularly.

Responsible for the definition, revision and improvement of SPC related specifications.

Define and update of SPC Control limits, and perform regular SPC audits

Responsible for the record and management of Calibration and Verification of measurement equipment.

Ensure all equipment are labelled and updated.

Responsible for the MSA of new and existing equipments, manage the operation of routine internal verification of the measuring machine and its calibration samples.

Monitor and inspect workplaces as well as equipment and take appropriate action to ensure in compliance with OSHA, FMA and Environmental Act

Any other tasks arranged by supervisor.

Requirements

• Bachelor's /Master's Degree in Engineering (Material Science, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics) or equivalent. Min CGPA 3.0
• Proven experience in a quality control or related role within manufacturing or semiconductor environment are preferred.
• >> 3 years working experiences in semiconductor manufacturing quality area.
• Have handled SPC, MSA, calibration, internal audit and handle customer issue.
