Job summary

HIOPTEL TECHNOLOGY(MALAYSIA) SDN BHD is seeking a Quality Engineer to uphold high quality standards in optical transceiver production. You will develop and execute QC systems, perform inspections, and drive CAPA across processes.

Collaborate with engineering and production teams, ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and TL 9000, maintain quality records, and train staff on QA protocols. Open to candidates 35 and below.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality management, or related field.
• Experience in optical transceiver manufacturing or high-tech industry.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 / TL 9000 and testing methods.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain quality control procedures specific to optical transceiver production.
• Perform inspections and testing on incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for quality issues.
• Work closely with engineering and production teams to optimize manufacturing processes.
• Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards, regulations, and customer requirements.
• Maintain accurate quality records and documentation for audits and reporting.
• Provide training and guidance to staff on quality assurance protocols and best practices.
• Monitor supplier quality performance and conduct supplier audits as required.
