Greatech Integration (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a hands-on Quality Assurance engineer to work with the Sales & Engineering team at early design review, translating customer requirements into robust manufacturing specs. You will drive QA upgrades, perform product and process qualification, support post-delivery actions, and assist in ISO/QMS initiatives while coordinating with internal and external partners.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Mechanical/Mechatronic/Manufacturing.
• 2–5 years hands-on QA in fabrication of metal works, CNC machining, and assembly.
• Ability to work independently and communicate with process owners and internal customers.
• Familiarity with IQA/IPQA/OQA, data analysis, and root cause analysis.
• Knowledge of ISO/QMS standards and audit procedures.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Sales & Engineering at early design review to capture customer specs.
• Ensure requirements can be fulfilled; propose QA upgrades when needed.
• Translate specifications to internal documents.
• Communicate specs with internal and external parties.
• Conduct stage-by-stage contract reviews and align actions.
• Support QA during manufacturing, assembly, and troubleshooting.
• Define machine requirements with designers for buyoff criteria.
• Coordinate with Engineering & Assembly to complete buyoff.
• Review data and documents required during machine buy-off.
• Wrap up buyoff documentation and storage.
• Support post-delivery actions: post-mortems, design changes.
• Assist in establishing, implementing, maintaining QMS.
• Assist in customer audits and third-party QMS assessments.
• Take on other duties as assigned.
• Comply with ISO standards and safety procedures.
