Job summary

Lam Research in Malaysia is seeking a Quality professional to strengthen our quality initiatives across manufacturing and business operations. You will analyze process performance, support compliance, and drive continuous improvement to enhance customer satisfaction and product quality.

This role requires hands-on audits, data-driven decision making, and cross-functional collaboration to implement CAPA, standardize processes, and monitor quality metrics in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or an equivalent technical discipline.
• 2–3 years of experience in the semiconductor industry and in quality‑related functions.
• Hands‑on experience in process audits, product audits, and production line audits.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis, with working knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to drive data‑based decisions.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills for effective cross‑functional collaboration.
• Experience working in a cleanroom environment and familiarity with cleanroom protocols.

Responsibilities

• Manage and resolve internal quality issues by ensuring timely containment, root cause identification, and closure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to conduct comprehensive root-cause investigations and drive the implementation of effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce, eliminate, and prevent repeated or recurring quality issues across processes and products.
• Champion proactive quality measures, process standardization efforts, and cross‑product learning to strengthen overall organizational capability.
• Compile, analyze, and present quality performance metrics during global and site-level business and operational review forums.
• Perform detailed data analysis to identify trends, systemic gaps, and improvement opportunities across manufacturing processes.
• Ensure manufacturing processes—and resulting products—consistently meet internal specifications, customer expectations, and regulatory quality requirements.
