Job summary

MFG TECHNOLOGY SDN. BHD. in Malaysia is seeking a QA Engineer to manage customer complaints, perform root cause analysis, and drive CAPA implementations across production processes.

• Must have a degree in engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in connector manufacturing.
• Able to read technical drawings and understand connector product specifications.
• Fluent in English and Chinese for communication with China HQ and customers.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer complaints, quality issues, and ensure timely corrective action (CAPA) implementation.
• Analyze quality problems, perform root cause analysis, and drive continuous improvement activities.
• Coordinate with Production, Engineering, and other departments to resolve quality-related issues.
• Review and implement customer quality requirements across production processes.
• Handle customer returns and non-conformance cases according to established procedures.
• Prepare and maintain quality reports and documentation (FAI, CTAR, CPK, PPK, FAA, QIP, FOT, etc.).
• Support product and process quality verification to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Monitor quality performance indicators and support improvement initiatives to reduce defects and improve yield.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure effective communication on quality matters.
• Support new product introduction (NPI), audits, and overseas customer visits when required.
