Job summary

WhiteCrow Research is assisting a client to recruit an Advanced Quality Engineer. This role focuses on implementing quality planning, MSA, FMEA, and DOE across prototype and production stages, while driving corrective actions and audits. Strong leadership and cross-cultural communication are essential for success.

The incumbent will ensure design verification, product qualification, and robust documentation, partnering with internal teams and customers to uphold quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of quality control experience, preferably in cable assemblies, connectors or similar industries.
• Demonstrated leadership across cultures and teams.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Ability to communicate across all levels of the organization.
• Experience delivering workshops or coaching teams on quality tools.
• Deep knowledge of ISO 9001, SPC, FMEA, MSA and the 7 QC tools.
• Proficiency in Statistical Process Control and Design of Experiments (DOE).
• Familiarity with APQP and MB-D dimensionaling and GD&T standards.
• Experience with EIA-364 test procedures and quality software tools (Minitab/JMP).
• Strong organizational skills, strategic thinking and customer focus.
• Proven ability to build cross-functional relationships and drive results.

Responsibilities

• Implement quality planning and controls for prototypes and document builds.

• Analyze development samples and drive corrective actions for quality issues.
• Ensure design verification and product qualification before Gate 5.
• Perform CP studies to support FTAR using CTAR methodology.
• Maintain quality controls and documentation for production environments.
• Monitor process capability and oversee corrective actions as needed.
• Approve measurement and cosmetic inspection criteria.

As an Advanced Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for...

• Implementing quality planning and controls for prototype/sample builds; managing build documentation.
• Conducting Measurement System Analysis (MSA) for inspection systems and gauges.
• Analyzing samples and quality issues during development; driving corrective actions.
• Ensuring design verification and product qualification testing prior to project Gate 5.
• Performing Process Capability Studies to support Final Tool Approval (FTAR) using CTAR methodology.
• Establishing and maintaining quality controls and documentation for production environments.
• Monitoring process capability and oversee corrective actions as needed.
• Approving measurement and cosmetic inspection criteria.
• Supporting internal and external audits, including customer quality system audits.

What you already have...

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in quality control, preferably in cable assemblies, connectors, sockets, or similar industries.
• Strong leadership capability and experience in managing people leaders across cultures.
• Strong communicator with excellent written and verbal English skills.
• Able to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
• Trainer of quality tools and methodologies, with experience delivering workshops or coaching teams.
• Deep understanding of ISO 9001, SPC, FMEA, MSA, and 7 QC tools.
• Proficient in Statistical Process Control and Design of Experiments (DOE).
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience with APQP methodology and requirements.
• Familiarity with Model-Based Dimensioning (MBD) and GD&T standards.
• Expertise in EIA-364 test procedures.
