Job summary

Proride Auto Suspension Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a Quality Inspector for its manufacturing operations. You will check raw materials, in-process work, and finished products against drawings, interpret 2D drawings, and operate precision measuring equipment to ensure dimensional accuracy.

You will also run laboratory tests to evaluate durability and function, document data, maintain traceability, and issue NCRs for any non-conforming items.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years experience in manufacturing (metal/welding/ machining/ spraying preferred).
• Able to work shifts, overtime and 6 days a week.
• Experience supervising/leading is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Check and ensure raw materials, in-process machining/assembly/spray, and finished products meet drawings.
• Interpret 2D drawings and operate measuring equipment.
• Operate the laboratory test machine to evaluate functionality, durability, and dimensions.
• Record inspection data, generate reports, maintain lot traceability, and issue NCRs for defective items.
• Identify root causes of defects and isolate non-conforming products to prevent flow to next workstation.
• Coordinate between production sections to resolve defects and keep daily operations smooth.
• Report production activities and abnormalities to QA Engineer/Manager.
• Adhere to workplace safety and maintain good 5S.

Required Skill & Experience

• 1. Minimum 1-2 years' experience in manufacturing preferable in Metal/Welding/Machining/Spraying industry.
• 2. Experience in supervising/leader will be advantage.

4. To record inspection data, generate inspection reports, maintain lot traceability, and issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for defective items.

5. Able to identify root causes of defects, isolate non-conforming products to prevent outflow to next workstation & shipment.

6. To coordinate between every section in Production to resolve defect issue & keep daily operation smooth.

7. To report production activities and any abnormalities to QA Engineer / Manager.

8. To adhere to workplace safety and maintain good 5S.
