Responsibilities

Conduct visual inspections and functional tests of medical products throughout manufacturing.
Operate and maintain QC testing equipment with proper calibration.
Record and document inspection results, test data and quality metrics.
Investigate defects and non-conformities; escalate to QA for corrective actions.
Perform sampling and testing per QC plans and procedures.
Assist in implementing QC procedures and continuous improvement.
Maintain clean, organized work environment meeting health and safety standards.
Communicate quality concerns with production teams and resolve issues.

About the role We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control Operator to join Supercomal Medical Products Sdn Bhd. in Sungai Petani, Kedah. This is a full-time position that plays a critical role in maintaining the highest standards of product quality and safety in our manufacturing operations. As a Quality Control Operator, you will be responsible for inspecting, testing and verifying products to ensure they meet our stringent quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements. Your work is essential to protecting our reputation and ensuring customer satisfaction in the medical products industry.

Key responsibilities

Conducting visual inspections and functional testing of medical products throughout the manufacturing process to identify defects or non-conformities
Operating and maintaining quality control testing equipment and instruments, ensuring accurate calibration and proper functioning
Recording and documenting inspection results, test data and quality metrics in accordance with company procedures and regulatory standards
Investigating product defects and non-conformities, documenting findings and escalating issues to quality management for corrective action
Performing sampling and testing activities in accordance with established quality control plans and procedures
Assisting in the implementation of quality control procedures and participating in continuous improvement initiatives
Maintaining a clean and organised work environment that meets health, safety and hygiene standards
Collaborating with production teams to communicate quality concerns and resolve product-related issues promptly
Preparing quality control reports and contributing to quality audits and management reviews

What we're looking for

High school diploma, diploma or equivalent qualification in a related field such as quality assurance, manufacturing or a similar discipline
Proven experience working as a Quality Control Operator or in a similar quality inspection role within manufacturing environments
Strong knowledge of quality control principles, testing methodologies and acceptance criteria relevant to medical or manufacturing products
Proficiency in using quality control testing equipment, measuring instruments and basic laboratory tools
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify even minor defects or deviations from specifications
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, standard operating procedures and quality documentation
Strong organisational and record-keeping skills with the ability to maintain accurate and detailed documentation
Sound communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
Familiarity with medical device manufacturing standards, regulatory requirements or ISO certifications is advantageous
Physical capability to perform repetitive tasks, stand for extended periods and work in a manufacturing environment
