Job summary

heyearl is seeking experienced furniture quality inspectors to conduct on-site inspections at manufacturing facilities. You will identify defects, verify conformance to specs, and report findings with photos using mobile reporting apps. Maintain strict professionalism and confidentiality across assignments.

The role emphasizes accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently across multiple facilities, ensuring compliance with buyer requirements and approved samples.

Qualifications

• 5–6 years of experience in furniture quality inspection, QC, or manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of furniture manufacturing processes and inspection procedures.
• Experience with AQL sampling, defect classification, and product specifications.
• Proficiency with smartphones, cameras, and digital reporting apps.
• Diploma or degree in a technical or manufacturing-related field.

Responsibilities

• On-site quality control inspections at manufacturing facilities, including during production and final checks before shipment.
• Identify and classify defects across workmanship, material, finishing, structural, and functional aspects using inspection standards and AQLs.
• Verify furniture against approved samples, drawings, purchase orders, and buyer requirements.
• Check workmanship, dimensions, materials, construction, finishing, functionality, labeling, packaging, quantity, and related requirements.
• Capture photo evidence and generate detailed inspection reports via smartphone apps.
• Maintain integrity, professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail on every assignment.

Your Mission

• On-Site Quality Control – Conduct furniture inspections at manufacturing facilities, including during-production and final inspections before shipment.
• Defect Identification – Identify and classify furniture defects, including workmanship, material, finishing, structural, and functional issues, using applicable inspection standards and AQL sampling plans.
• Product Evaluation – Verify furniture against approved samples, specifications, drawings, purchase orders, and buyer requirements.
• Quality Verification – Check workmanship, dimensions, materials, construction, finishing, functionality, labeling, packaging, quantity, and other applicable product requirements.
• Digital Reporting – Capture clear photo evidence and generate accurate, detailed inspection reports via smartphone apps.
• Integrity First – Maintain strict professionalism, unbiased reporting, confidentiality, and attention to detail on every assignment.

What You Bring

• Track Record – 5–6 years of experience in furniture quality inspection, quality control, or furniture manufacturing with buying houses, inspection agencies, exporters, manufacturers, or related organizations.
• Technical Expertise – Strong understanding of furniture manufacturing processes, quality inspection procedures, AQL sampling, defect classification, product specifications, materials, workmanship, and finishing standards.
• Tech-Savvy – Strong English, plus comfort with smartphones, cameras, and digital reporting applications.
