Job summary

Nueratec Manufacturing Sdn Bhd – Ulu Tiram, Johor is seeking a Quality Inspector with engineering background and practical CNC inspection experience. The role involves reading drawings, GD&T, and inspecting using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, and CMM equipment where applicable.

The incumbent will prepare inspection records and quality reports, identify defects, and ensure conformance with ISO 9001 quality standards.

Qualifications

• Certificate, Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Precision Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing or CNC machining environment is preferred.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements.
• Familiar with inspection tools such as vernier caliper, micrometer, height gauge, bore gauge, and other measuring instruments.
• Experience using CMM inspection equipment is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of quality inspection processes, incoming inspection, in-process inspection, and final inspection.
• Familiar with quality documents such as inspection reports, FAI reports, NCR/NCMR, and control plans.
• Basic knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management system requirements.
• Able to identify machining defects, dimensional issues, and cosmetic defects.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy in inspection results.
• Basic computer knowledge for preparing inspection records and quality reports.
• Able to work independently and communicate quality issues effectively.
