Job summary

Escatec Malaysia is seeking a Quality Inspector to ensure products meet established quality standards throughout production. The role involves routine sampling inspections, daily process audits, and accurate documentation of quality data.

The candidate will implement corrective actions, confirm lot disposition status, and maintain records. Requires SPM with 2+ years’ experience, ability to use measuring tools, and willingness to work shifts with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• SPM with at least 2 years in a quality or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to use basic measuring tools (vernier caliper, micrometer, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Perform routine sampling inspection on production and finished products according to sampling plans and inspection criteria.
• Conduct Product Process Audit daily.
• Ensure information is correctly written into quality reports and records.
• Ensure corrective actions are recommended before start audit resubmission lot.
• Ensure lot disposition status is correctly identified.

The Role

The Quality Inspector is responsible for carrying out inspection and audit activities to ensure products meet established quality standards and requirements throughout the production process.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine sampling inspection on the production and finished products according to specified sampling plans and inspection criteria as stated in Inspection Plan and Quality plan.
• Conduct Product Process Audit daily.
• Ensure all information is written correctly into the quality reports and records.
• Ensure corrective actions are recommended before start audit resubmission lot.
• Ensure the lot disposition status is correctly identified.

Skills & Experience

• Able to work independently and handle multiple tasks effectively.
• Willing to work shifts and overtime when required.

Qualifications

• SPM with at least 2 years of experience in a similar quality or manufacturing environment

Requirements:

• 1–2 years’ experience in manufacturing or quality inspection.
• Able to use basic measuring tools (vernier caliper, micrometer, etc.).
• Able to follow instructions carefully and work responsibly.
• Willing to work in shifts and overtime when required.
• Must have own transport.
• Willing to work with different shift patterns, including weekend off days and rest days.
