Job summary

Advanced Energy in Malaysia seeks a Quality Assurance professional to lead process control and monitor quality performance across internal and external touchpoints.

You will drive quality improvements, coordinate root-cause analysis, and ensure ISO9001 standards, with data-driven decision making and collaboration with production, engineering and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or higher in Mechanical or Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum five years of relevant experience in quality/manufacturing.
• Proficient in English (verbal and written).
• Knowledge of SPC, FMEA, and DOE tools.

Responsibilities

• Control manufacturing process and monitor quality performance for internal and external customers.
• Coordinate quality improvement activities across departments and managers.
• Investigate quality issues, implement containment actions and corrective actions.
• Drive quality standards, audits, and interface with customers on quality concerns.
• Set up process management plans and ensure understanding and adherence.
• Train operators and inspectors on quality and workmanship standards.
• Collect and analyze data to drive improvements.
• Manage equipment calibration and maintain cleanroom environment.
• Support new product transfers and line qualification, and QA system maintenance.

Job description

Works with Production, Engineering and related department to solve quality issue happened in AE process and customer side, coordinate quality improvement activities in AE both for manufacturing process and product quality, ensure process ability and product quality meets AE standard and customer's requirements.

Key responsibilities:

Control manufacturing process and monitor quality performance both internal & external, review quality data with related persons regularly.

Coordinate quality improvement activities for process stability and product quality, to implement process audit and hold quality meeting.

Handle quality issue happened in AE process and customer side, implement containment action, investigate the root cause, follow up corrective actions and response to related person/department, and Product Hold process follow up.

Drives quality standards, manages audits, and interfaces with customers on quality concerns.

Set up process management plan for each product and make sure it been understood and followed.

Guide related persons such as operator and inspector on quality standard and workmanship standard understanding.

Data collecting and analysis, and drive improvement with data.

Equipment calibration management, intranet database maintenance and work environment control for ESD and cleanroom of manufacturing plant.

Implement First Article Inspection and submitted result to customer as need

New product transfer action follow up, New Production Line qualification, and Support the Quality System setup and maintenance.

About you:

Bachelor Science in Mechanical or Electronic Engineering is preferred, or college graduation but with minimum five (5) years work experience.

English communication skills in verbal and written.

Solving problem skills, able to coordinate persons from different departments for quickly solving quality issue.

Data analysis ability, able to find potential quality issue as early as possible.

Skill of basic quality tools and quality improvement tools such as SPC, FMEA, DOE.

Creative ability, technical skill and independent judgment ability.

PC skills, can properly present quality issues and reports with Email, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

Ability to follow equipment calibration requirement and process.

Have in process quality control or engineering experience, preferably with knowledge of electronic product manufacturing process.

Preferred:

Knowledge of ISO9001:2015 requirements and internal auditor certification is preferred.

The 6-Sigma background is preferred.
