J&T Express Malaysia is seeking a QC Assistant Manager to lead regional quality control initiatives and drive data-driven performance improvements across the network.

The QC Assistant Manager leads regional quality control and performance improvement initiatives, driving data-driven quality and operational excellence. You will work closely with regional branches and cross-functional teams, with the opportunity to lead quality improvement projects across the network.
Key responsibilitiesLead and monitor key Quality Control (QC) and operational performance KPIs across the network and last-mile operations, including on-time delivery, pickup timeliness, signed rate, warehouse retention rate, inbound/outbound timeliness, parcel loss rate and other quality-related indicators.
Establish and monitor quality standards, KPI benchmarks and performance measurement frameworks to ensure consistency across regions and branches.
Analyse operational and quality data to identify performance gaps, trends and root causes, and develop appropriate corrective and preventive action plans.
Lead regular performance and quality review sessions with regional teams and branch management to track improvement progress and ensure KPI achievement.
Conduct branch visits and provide guidance to branch managers and operational teams on QC standards, KPI logic, calculation methodology and improvement strategies.
Develop and conduct online and offline training on quality standards, KPI requirements, performance measurement and operational compliance.
Prepare and present daily, weekly and monthly quality/performance reports to management, highlighting key issues, trends, risks and recommended improvement actions.
Work closely with Operations, Network, Last-Mile, Data and other relevant departments to identify operational issues and drive cross-functional quality improvement initiatives.
Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality, operational efficiency and customer experience.
Lead and coach QC team members, including work allocation, performance monitoring, capability development and day-to-day guidance.
About youBachelor's Degree in Quality Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management or a related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Quality Control, Quality Management, Operations Excellence, Logistics Operations, Performance Management or a related field.
Experience in logistics, e-commerce, last-mile delivery, warehouse operations or other large-scale operational environments will be an added advantage.
Proven experience in KPI management, quality improvement, root cause analysis and performance monitoring.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret operational data and translate insights into actionable improvement plans.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of Power BI, SQL or other data analytics tools will be an advantage.
Strong presentation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead projects and manage cross-functional teams.
Comfortable travelling to regional branches when required.
Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities and perform effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
