Job summary

Union Sangyo (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Quality Assurance Executive/Assistant Manager to lead QA operations in line with ISO 9001 and customer requirements. You will support Production in achieving top quality, reliability, and continuous improvement, and lead the QA Auditor team to maintain superior outgoing product quality.

Diploma or Degree in Quality Assurance or Mechanical/Automotive Engineering (or a Certificate in Engineering with 6+ years of relevant experience) is required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Quality Assurance or Mechanical/Automotive Engineering.
• Candidates with a Certificate in Engineering and at least 6 years of relevant experience may be considered.
• Ability to read, draw, and design basic automotive component parts.

Responsibilities

• Manage QA operations in line with ISO 9001 QMS and customer requirements.
• Lead the QA Auditor team to maintain and improve the quality of outgoing products.
• Coordinate and implement Quality System across the company to eliminate customer complaints.
• Support internal training related to Production and QA.
• Implement Kaizen initiatives on the production floor to improve productivity, quality, and costs.
• Resolve quality-related issues and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Monitor and coordinate all customer complaints (internal and external).
• Support new product development and continuously seek improvements in product quality.

QUALITY ASSURANCE (QA) EXECUTIVE/ASSIST. MANAGER

Manage QA operations in line with the objectives of the QA Department, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 QMS and customer requirements.

Support the Production Department in achieving its objectives, namely production output, best-in-class quality, and high reliability standards.

To lead QA Auditor team to maintain or improve the quality for all outgoing products.

SCOPE OF DUTIES

Coordinate and implement the Quality System across the company to eliminate customer complaints and maintain the highest possible product quality.

Support internal training related to Production and QA.

Implement Kaizen initiatives on the production floor to improve productivity, quality, and cost-saving programs.

Lead the QA Auditor team to maintain and enhance the quality of all outgoing products.

Coordinate ISO documentation control.

Resolve all quality-related issues internally and externally, and implement appropriate corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Support new product development and continuously seek improvements in product quality.

Control and assure the quality of incoming raw materials.

Monitor and coordinate all customer complaints (both internal and external).

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED

Diploma/Degree in Quality Assurance, Mechanical/Automotive Engineering, or equivalent. Candidates with a Certificate in Engineering and at least 6 years of relevant experience will also be considered.

Knowledge of production and technical engineering, with the ability to read, draw, and design basic automotive component parts.

Strong communication skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and supervise a team, while working independently with minimal supervision.

Proficiency in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
