Job summary

Neways Electronics International NV in Malaysia is seeking a seasoned Quality Manager to lead a growing EMS site. You will shape the Quality Strategy, drive improvements, and ensure manufacturing excellence.

You will supervise a quality organization, manage supplier and customer quality, and implement QMS, ISO standards, and continuous improvement programs to deliver defect reduction and high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Manufacturing, Electronics, or related discipline.
• 10–15 years of experience in Quality within EMS or high-tech manufacturing environments.
• 3–5 years in leadership or managerial capacity.
• Experience managing customer quality issues and audits.
• Experience with contract manufacturing and multinational customers preferred.
• Experience supporting manufacturing scale-up or factory expansion is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy the site Quality Strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Establish annual quality goals, KPIs, and improvement roadmaps.
• Lead and develop the Quality team to support business growth and operational requirements.
• Drive quality culture initiatives across all departments.
• Monitor departmental performance and ensure achievement of quality objectives.
• Lead Customer Quality Management and audits, CAPA, 8D.
• Manage IQC/IPQC/OQC and robust control plans.
• Establish supplier quality performance monitoring and audits.
• Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS) and audits.
• Support NPI including RFQ, engineering transfer, and product industrialization.
