Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to support and monitor QA activities across the manufacturing line. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with quality standards and work instructions, and on driving corrective actions and continuous improvement.

You will investigate quality issues, support QA tests, and collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Maintenance to resolve defects and improve yield. A proactive approach to audits and documentation is essential.

Responsibilities

• Support and monitor Quality Assurance activities throughout the manufacturing process
• Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards, specifications and work instructions
• Support IQC, IPQC and OQC activities to ensure product quality requirements are achieved
• Investigate product and process quality issues and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
• Assist in implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
• Prepare and follow up on NCR, CAR, 8D reports and other quality-related issues
• Analyze quality data, defect trends and process performance to identify areas for improvement
• Work closely with Production, Engineering, Maintenance and other departments to resolve quality issues
• Conduct or support quality improvement projects to reduce defects, improve yield and enhance process stability
• Assist in the preparation, review and maintenance of SOP, Work Instruction, inspection standards and quality records
• Support internal, customer and external audit activities
• Monitor the effectiveness of corrective actions and ensure proper follow-up
• Support calibration and control of inspection and measuring equipment
• Assist in establishing and maintaining quality standards and procedures
• Participate in continuous improvement activities related to Quality, Productivity and Process Efficiency
• Prepare quality reports, presentations and relevant documentation for management review
• Perform any other quality-related duties assigned by the superior
