Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a QC Supervisor to oversee quality control operations, lead a team of inspectors, and ensure products meet strict industry and customer standards. You will drive defect reduction and maintain compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and customer requirements.

The role involves supervising inspections, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and driving continuous improvement in quality metrics such as FPY and scrap rates. Strong leadership and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Engineering or Quality Management.
• Minimum 3 years experience in QC and people management.
• Familiar with ISO 9001 quality management system requirements.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and related productivity tools.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily QC inspection activities including incoming, in-process, and final product inspections.
• Lead, coach, and manage QC inspectors to ensure effective execution of inspection requirements.
• Allocate manpower and inspection resources based on production requirements and priorities.
• Ensure inspections follow work instructions, control plans, drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
• Review and verify inspection results, quality records, and inspection reports for accuracy and completeness.
• Support production teams in identifying, containing, and resolving quality issues.
• Perform investigations on product defects, non-conformances, and customer complaints.
