Renesas Electronics (Malaysia) is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to lead QA processes, facilitate problem-solving and ensure adherence to quality standards. The role involves coordinating PFMEA and Quality Gate activities for new processes, managing IQC, reliability testing, and investigations while tracking quality KPIs and driving continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will have a science/engineering degree and strong knowledge of FMEA, 8D, MSA, SPC, along with lean and Six Sigma

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in science or engineering.
• Knowledge of FMEA, 8D, MSA, SPC.
• Understanding of Lean/Kaizen/Six Sigma and process improvements.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and teamwork skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead QA processes to ensure quality compliance and customer satisfaction.
• Drive Corrective & Preventive Actions for quality issues.
• Support PFMEA, Control Plan, MSA, Quality Gate for new processes.
• Manage Incoming Quality Control (IQC) activities.
• Coordinate ORT, product qualification, reliability testing and failure investigations.
• Monitor Quality KPIs and drive continuous improvement.

Lead the Quality Assurance process to ensure the achievement of quality compliances and customer satisfaction. Provide Quality Assurance support and coordinate in resolving potential issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate Customer Quality Issues and Internal Quality issues to drive Corrective & Preventive Actions.
• Facilitate Quality Planning Process [PFMEA, Control Plan, Measurement System Analysis, Quality Gate] for new process setup.
• Manage Incoming Quality Control (IQC) activities.
• Coordinate Ongoing Reliability Testing (ORT), product qualification, reliability assessment, and related failure investigations.
• Monitor Quality KPIs and coordinate Continuous Improvement activities.
• Perform Quality Audits to ensure compliances, process effectiveness, and elimination of Quality Risks.

Qualifications

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical, Electronics Engineering.
• Knowledge on FMEA, 8D, MSA, SPC
• Basic understanding on Manufacturing / Test Engineering principles, Process Improvements [Lean / Kaizen / Six Sigma]
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, effective communication, and teamwork ability.
