Job summary

Alphv Recruit seeks a QA Engineer to design and execute manual and automated tests, ensuring features meet requirements and quality standards. You will log defects, participate in agile ceremonies, and contribute to API/docs development.

The role emphasizes end-to-end QA in enterprise environments, with strong documentation ownership and collaboration with engineering teams for Swagger/OpenAPI and Postman references.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• Certifications: ISTQB Certified Tester (or equivalent QA cert) and Technical Writing / Documentation specialization are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases.
• Conduct functional, regression, integration, performance, and UAT testing.
• Log, track, and verify defects until closure.
• Participate in sprint ceremonies, providing input on quality and test coverage.
• Validate software features against requirements, ensuring reliability and compliance.
• Own and maintain product documentation throughout the SDLC.
• Create and update user manuals, setup guides, FAQs, release notes, and troubleshooting docs.
• Work with engineers to produce API and developer documentation (Swagger/OpenAPI, Postman collections).
• Ensure documentation is consistent, accurate, version-controlled, and accessible.
• Support training, onboarding, and knowledge transfer with clear reference materials.

• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies (manual & automated)
  
• Hands-on experience with test case design, regression testing, and defect tracking
  
• Proficiency with QA/test management tools (Jira, TestRail, Selenium, Postman, Cypress, or equivalent)
  
• Working knowledge of SDLC and Agile/Scrum processes
  
• Proven ability to produce clear, user-friendly technical documentation (user guides, release notes, FAQs, API docs)
  
• Experience with documentation platforms (Confluence, Git-based repos, Swagger/OpenAPI, Markdown)
  
• Solid analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
  

Required Technical Skills:
