Job summary

Beauty Label & Packaging Sdn. Bhd. in Ipoh, Perak, is seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Assistant to join our QA team. This full-time role supports production quality and regulatory compliance across our facilities, helping ensure products meet stringent specifications and quality standards.

You will conduct inspections, perform QC tests, document results, assist in maintaining QA records, and collaborate with production to drive improvements. Attention to detail and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, diploma or higher qualification in science, engineering or quality management.
• 1-2 years of experience in quality assurance, quality control or a related manufacturing role.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify deviations from specifications.
• Proficiency with quality control equipment or willingness to learn.
• Solid understanding of QA principles and best practices in manufacturing.
• Excellent record-keeping and data documentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with production and other departments.
• Strong communication skills in reporting findings.
• Commitment to a safe and compliant work environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of products and materials at various production stages to identify defects.
• Perform quality control tests and measurements using calibrated equipment and SOPs.
• Document test results and quality data per company protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in preparing and maintaining QA records and documentation.
• Support investigation of quality issues and root-cause analyses where appropriate.
• Collaborate with production teams to communicate findings and drive improvements.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of QA work area and equipment.
• Assist in developing and updating QC procedures and work instructions.
• Participate in audits and inspections to ensure compliance.
