Job summary

American Air Filter Manufacturing Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a competent QC Coordinator to streamline daily QC operations in our Petaling facility. You will align manpower with the actual production schedule and drive efficiency across the QC team.

Key duties include monitoring discipline and attendance, ensuring adherence to quality control plans, and maintaining accurate documentation. You will support QA activities, participate in Kaizen initiatives, and assist in investigation reports as needed.

Qualifications

• At least a SPM/Certificate/Diploma in a relevant field.
• Minimum 3 years of related working experience in QC/QA.
• Strong knowledge of quality management principles and ISO standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily operations of the QC team and align manpower with production schedules to improve efficiency.
• Monitor QC team discipline and attendance.
• Ensure QC plans are followed and records are kept properly.
• Ensure inspection reports are completed and submitted on time.
• Overlap with QA on return goods inspections and investigations as needed.
• Support Kaizen, KYT training and productivity/quality improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate will be responsible to coordinate the daily operations of the QC team and arrange manpower according to the actual production schedule to improve work efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the daily operations of the QC team and arrange manpower according to the actual production schedule to improve work efficiency
• Monitor the QC team discipline and attendance
• Monitor the QC team to ensure they execute quality control plans and comply with procedures
• Ensure all documents work are being filled up by QC team and records are kept in a proper way
• Ensure all inspection reports are completed and submitted accordingly in a timely manner
• Ensure 5S activities, ISO and safety requirement is practiced among QC team
• Ensure the used measuring equipment used by QC team is in calibrated accordingly by a visible calibration sticker
• Provide backup support to the QC team in product inspection activities during manpower shortage or QC member absences
• Participate in Kaizen, KYT gemba (Kiken Yochi Training), and support productivity and quality improvement initiatives
• Assist QA/QC Executive level to perform the return good inspection, testing, also involve in the investigation report

About you

• Possess at least a SPM / Certificate / Diploma
• Minimum 3 years of related working experience
• Quality management

• Compliance integrated ISO 9001 QMS, ISO 14001 EMS, ISO 45001 OH&S and ISO 13485 MDMS
