Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a QC supervisor for our PJ Rolling Mill in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. The role involves backup daily stock counting, mass and length checks on bars, and ensuring MS146:2014 and AS4671 standards are met.

The position requires 12-hour shift work at Jalan Tandang. You will verify bar strength every 15 minutes per heat number and size, segregate rejected bars, prepare reports, and handle ad-hoc tasks as assigned by your supervisor.

Qualifications

• Possess an SPM (credit Mathematics)
• Minimum 1-2 years of working experience as a QC supervisor in the manufacturing industry will be an added advantage
• Able to use Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) to prepare a report
• Good physical condition and health
• Candidate must work in shift hours (12 hours) at Jalan Tandang, Petaling Jaya, Selangor
• Vacancies are open for 2 positions

Responsibilities

• Backup daily stock counting for the store, and PJ Rolling Mill (day & night shift)
• Mass and length checking on individual and 12 metre length bars in accordance with MS146:2014 and AS4671 standards
• To verify the strength of the bar every 15 minutes for each heat number and every size
• Segregated rejected bars, sprayed white at both ends, and stored in the designated area
• Prepare a work report as requested by the superior
• Any ad-hoc job assigned by the superior
