Job summary

Agricore CS Sdn Bhd in Malaysia (Penang) is seeking a quality inspection student or junior staff to inspect materials, run routine tests, and record data using standard logs or Excel sheets. The role emphasizes accuracy, communication, and adherence to safety protocols in a warehouse/production environment.

They expect pursuing a diploma or degree in Engineering, Science, Food Technology or related fields, with attention to detail, basic math skills, and good Excel data-entry capabilities.

Qualifications

• Education: Currently pursuing a diploma or degree in Engineering, Science (Chemistry, Biology, Physics), Food Technology, or a related field.
• Attention to Detail: High accuracy in spotting small mistakes, defects, or measurement errors.
• Skills: Basic data entry skills (MS Excel) and a clear understanding of basic math.
• Communication: Able to explain issues clearly to the team both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Inspect Materials: Check incoming raw materials or finished products for defects, scratches, or incorrect sizes.
• Perform Tests: Run routine quality and measurements tests using basic laboratory or inspection tools.
• Record Data: Write down test results, measurements, and inspection checklists accurately in logs or excel sheets.
• Identify Defects: Flag any items that fail quality checks and report them immediately to supervisors.
• Support Audits: Help the quality team organize paperwork and files for internal or external quality audits.
• Follow Safety Rules: Maintain a clean, organized testing workspace and follow all safety protocols.
